In a Nutshell:
- Over 1000 commercial and industrial activities are eligible for 100% ownership of their company in UAE.
- Professional activities are still offered for 100% ownership but also accompany UAE-based service agents.
- There is no additional fees or minimum capital restrictions for foreign investors.
- If you are a foreign company wanting to open a branch in UAE, you don’t require a local company agent to go on about it.
- Economic activities with strategic implications, under which seven industries fall, are not included in the list.
- The number of total economic activities now stands at 2,300.
